Lost luggage at Madrid Airport
Hi Gary,
I found a website on the net that said you might be able to help me with issues I am having with lost luggage at the Madrid airport. I flew home from Italy on Tuesday March 27 on Iberia. My first stop was in Madrid. We flew on a small commuter plane. As I was waiting for the bus to pull away from the plane to go to the Madrid terminal I saw my bag role off the plane onto the luggage truck with everyone else's. However, when I got to JFK after my next flight my bag was missing. The people there informed me my bag had not be properly checked in. There is no luggage number in their system. I am pretty sure my luggage is at the Madrid airport but have been unable to contact anyone who actually works there with Iberia. Whenever I call the lost luggage number for Iberia I end up talking to someone who works outside of the airport and has no ability to talk to anyone except customers who call in. Do you know of a number I could call that would put me in direct contact with someone working for Iberia at the Madrid airport?
Thanks
Angela Ansberry
My Reply...
Hi Angela
Its so frustrating when this happens and I hope you get your luggage back.
The only number I have for Iberia is 0034 902 341 342.
You should also try the AENA helpline which is on 0034 902 404 704
Fingers crossed
Gary
