Clearing Customs in Madrid

Hello,
I hope you can help with my question regarding clearing customs in Spain. We will be flying from Faro, Portugal to Madrid in June. We are then going to fly from Madrid to Malaga. Our flight from Faro lands at 15:55. There is a flight to Malaga at 16:30 & then there is not another flight to Malaga until 20:00. I'm wondering if there would be enough time to clear customs & catch the 16:30 flight to Malaga?

This is very tight and I dont think it can be done. I wouldnt do it!
Are you sure that they are not any flights between 1600 and 2000!
There are 2 or 3 airlines with direct flights from Madrid to Malaga... all info here
