Car seats in taxis at Seville Airport

Dear Gary,
My husband, my son Jack and I are traveling to Seville this Thursday 4/26 from the US. Jack is just over a year old. We are wondering what the rules are for taking taxis with small children. Is it possible to install a car seat in a taxi either in Madrid or Seville? Do you know what the rules are on car seats in Spain?
Separately, we are currently booked on a flight from Madrid to Seville and back again on the return. We have a dreadfully long layover in Madrid on both legs of the journey and are considering whether switching to the train between Madrid and Seville might be easier? Any views on this?
Any guidance you can provide would be helpful. Apologies for the short notice, but I only just came upon your site.
Best,
Nicole

Hi Nicole
Car seats in taxis are not the norm and I doubt if you will find one! Its the same in the Uk by the way.
Train is a a good option, very reliable and comfortable and well priced, much more fun for a one year old!
Here is a link to the train website that has all the info in English. (click the flag)

Hope all goes well
Regards
Gary
