Stolen Items from Suitcase - Tenerife South Airport

Hi Gary

Could you possibly tell me who I would mail at Tenerife Sur Airport regarding items that were stolen out of one of my suitcases after I had checked it in.

I found it quite odd when I tried to open one of my cases and the combination lock wouldn't open and I had to break the lock. The last time this happened to me was when we returned from the USA, however there was a note in my cases that time to say that they had been checked by security. This time however there was no note but two empty boxes of the aftershave that I had bought as gifts. I know that the cases at Tenerife are scanned so staff can see what is in the cases. I think someone at Tenerife should know that this is happening as I wonder how many other people this has happened to.

Kind Regards

Hi Julia

Sorry to hear about your bad luck.
I think the best thing to do is call the main Spanish Airport Authority helpline where they speak English and I am sure they can put you through to someone who can take your matter seriously.
The number is 0034 902 404 704

You can email them here: infotfs@aena..es
Good luck
