4 Hour Layover at Madrid

Hi Gary,I will be in Madrid for 4 hours on the morning of March 28th. Is it worth leaving the airport for some quick sightseeing and breakfast?I really do not want to stay in the airport for 4 hours but, I don't know if there is enough time to go to the city. If so, how would you recommend traveling there bus, metro, taxi?Thanks,Oda

I am not too sure that 4 hours is enough time to get out and about sightseeing.
I wouldn-t do it.
