Flights Alicante to Faro

Hi,
I'm trying to find out if it is possible to fly from Alicante to Faro, Portugal? I’m travelling to Alicante in late March and hoping to get to Faro to visit a friend. Any advice appreciated.

Cannot find direct flights between Alicante to Faro, however someone recently asked the following question which may be of help.
