Hi S

Apologies for the delay in coming back to you but we have been away ourselves!

The easiest way to get from Vilavicosa to tarragona is by Train. You would need to get your freinds to take you to either Gijon or Oviedo where there is a direct overnight train to Tarragona.

The train runs on Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur/Fri/Sun hours as follows...
Leaves Gijon at 1905
Leaves Oviedo at 1934
Arrives in Tarragona at 0717 the following morning! Costs are around 50 euros for an adult and 25 euros for a child.

You can get all the information that you need in English here: http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/ingles.html You can even call them and they will be able to speak in English. Its an adventurous trip but should be fun, I hope all goes well.

Would be great to hear from you after the trip as your experience could help other travellers in the future.

Regards

Gary

Reus or Girona? Destination Barcelona

Hi,
I will be traveling with four small children this summer and I am not sure which of the two airports do you recommend to fly into from Luton? Also, what is the best way to get to our destination with four kids.

Despartely Seeking Advice,

Soneca

Hi Soneca,

Not much in it, maybe Girona is lsightly better becuase its busier BUT in all honesty with 4 kids I would try to go straight to Barcelona, the main airport is about 10kms from the city center.

All you need to know is here..

Girona to Barcelona and here Reus Airport FAQs

Good luck

Gary
