Travel from Madrid to Salou

Hi Gary

Can you advise us if it would be easy enough to travel by train from Madrid
to Salou ? I think we would have to get two trains? Is train travel
reasonable and should we buy a rail pass? We are a family of 2 adults and 4
children.

Hi John

It looks like there is only one train per day that runs between Madrid and Reus and thats an overnight train.

Its better to get a train to Bracelona and then one from Barcelona to Tarragona. then a taxi from Tarragona to Salou.
