Market in Lanzarote

Do you know if the market in Lanzarote will be open as it is New Years Eve????

To be honest, Im not too sure and cannot find the info out. It could be worth posting a question on www.britishexpats.com or another forum for Lanzarote. Local people are generally good and answering questions.
