Getting Around Seville

Hi,
We are coming to Seville for four days, April 6 - 10 and then on to Malaga for four days, April 10 - 14. I know this is the busiest time of year for Seville. We are a family of four. I was going to rent a car upon arrival but worry I will not need it in Seville or be able to find a place to park it. Does the bus system get overloaded this time of year? Do you recommend taxi's or private hire cars if I decide to not rent a car until we go to Malaga but instead get a ride into and out of Seville airport into the city centre.

Any suggestions for getting around Seville airport during this very busy time of year would be appreciated.

Gracias,
Mike

We have been to Seville a number of times. Normally we drive from Marbella to Seville and stay in a hotel. You have to pay for parking which can be expensive.

As any City, it does get busy, and traffic can be a nightmare, we always get lost in Seville. Once we are there, we normally park our car and leave it, and alwaya walk around the City.

There are horse and cart tours, open top buses and normal buses. The last time we were there im sure they were putting in an underground.

Personally, I would just hire a car when you are going to Malaga. Take taxis or buses to where you want to go. It will work out cheaper than hireing a car for those days and paying for parking.

Hope this helps.
