Car Bomb At Madrid Airport

A car bomb has meant to have gone off at Madrid Airport this morning at 0930 (CET).

There is not much news coverage at the moment but I think it is safe to assume some level of delay at Madrid Airport Terminal 4 today!

Will provide more information when the news filters through...

Maybe a bit of an odd question???

Do you know if the market in Lanzarote will be open as it is new years eve????
Many thanks

My Reply...

To be honest, Im not too sure and cannot find the info out. It could be worth posting a question on www.britishexpats.com or another forum for Lanzarote. Local people are generally good and answering questions.

Tenerife North to Tenerife South

Hi
I´m going to Tenerife for new year and need some information on how to get from Tenerife airport north to the south of the island, as I´m visiting friends in Los Cristianos. Is there any airport busses crossing the island and do they run during the christmas week? How fare is it, and how much do you think it will cost with a taxi?
Regards

Hand Luggage at Murcia Airport

Hi Gary,

We are due to fly to Bristol by Easyjet this weekend, do you know what the current hand baggage restrictions are at Murcia airport?

We have the Easyjet hand baggage sizes from their website but obviously if the airport has its own restrictions they may be smaller and we don't want to get there and find we can't take our hand luggage on!

Hope you don´t mind me mailing you this question, but I thought it might also be a useful addition to your FAQs to include this updated info if you have it
many thanks

K

Hi Kate

The link to follow are the new EU Regulations for Hand Luggage. These are EasyJet but they are for the EU. http://www.easyjet.com/en/book/new_eu_security_rules.html.

As long as you follow these rules you should be ok. We flew a little while ago to the UK, a couple of days after these new rules were introduced.

They were quite strict. No water or large amounts of liquids etc. Also at the UK end, you were only allowed one peice of hand luggage.

Happy Christmas & New Year
