Hi Gary,Hoping you can help. Just moved to San Adrain from Ireland. Flew into Vitoria, was collected at airport, and driven to San Adrain, so know nothing of what public transport is available from the airport.Don´t speak Spanish, so there´s a bit of a communication barrier, and I need to find bus/train information, from Vitoria/Logrono/Bilboa/Barcelona airports to San Adrain. Have checked movillia and can´t seem to find any such information. If you can shed any light on which airport to fly into that provides convenient public transport to San Adrain, or indeed Calahorra, it would be greatly appreciated. Many thanksCeire
MY REPLYHi Ceire
Wow seems like a pretty remote place!!
Can't find any information on the buses, think your local town hall would be the best bet, they must have someone who speaks English.
If you follow this link and then press Calahorra it will show you all the train stations that can be reached from Calahorra, press one of those and you will see the times of the trains, there don't seem to be many BUT there is a good selection of destinations including all main airports APART from Vitoria.
If you then click on the actual name of the train it will show you times that it reaches the destinations.

I hope that this helps and that you settle in OK, Its a sure fire way to learn Spanish!
If you get any information about Vitoria Airport or the buses in the future please do let us know, some of these airports are small and we don't have a whole lot of information on them.
Good Luck
Regards
Gary

p.s In one of your other questions, it mentioned San Adrian and
transport problems. The nearest train station is Calahorra and the
buses are almost non existent. If they go to the bus station in
Calahorra, near the town hall there is a time table there. To get to
almost anywhere of interest they will have to go to Calahorra to
Logrono (1 hr) then Logrono to the city of choice (4.5 hours Madrid,
2.5 hours Bilbao, 2 hours Zaragoza (from Cal)). You were right when you
said it was a remote place!
