Transits from Madrid T4 to Madrid T4s

Hello Gary

I will fly from Zurich to Vigo on Iberia flight with a stop in Madrid of about 2 hours.

I will arrive at terminal T4S (from Zurich) and will depart at terminal T4 (to Vigo).

- Question 1: How can I change the terminals? Do I have to take a bus or the

driverless train? And where are the stations, which I can connect to them?

- Question 2: Do I have to go through a passport control in Madrid? Or will the

passport control be in Vigo?

Thank you in advance for answering the questions.

Best regards.

Andreas

Hi Andreas

As far as I know you will have to go through passport control between T4 and T4S, Iberia should be to organise for your luggage to be sent all the way through though.

With regards to your transit here is a paragraph from the site, to get to the trains just follow the signs from the arrivals hall....

The transport of passengers to and from the T4 and the T4S is conducted by means of an Automated Passenger Transport System. This is a driverless train that covers the distance slightly over 2 km separating the two terminals in just 4 minutes. It will operate 24 hours a day and it will run every 2 minutes during peak hours, making 30 second stops at each station

I hope that this helps and that you have a pleasent journey, if you would like clarification on the passport control issue the best thing to do is to call Iberia Airlines.

Regards
