Murcia Airport to Tomas Maestra Marina

Hi Gary,

Hope you can help here ...

I am flying into Murcia next Wednesday around 13:20 and looking to travel to St Thomas Maestro marina - I know there is a ferry that runs from the marina to somewhere near the town but not sure where ? Do you have any idea:

1. Who operates the service
2. Where it goes from ( I know it goes back to the marina) and how can i get there ..
3. The times it operates and how frequent ...
4. Who I can contact to find out any information as I have trwaled the internet to no avail ...

Many Thanks for your help ...

Hi Dave

I'm not too sure where St Thomas Maestro Marina is and which town does the ferry run near to?

If you give me that info I am sure I cant point you in the right direction

Cheers

Gary,

Many thanks ....

Tomas Maestre marina is at the end of the La Manga strip. I have managed to find that the ferry is run by B & F Ferry Service and runs from Tomas Maestre to Sanntiago de la Ribera....

Many Thanks

I admit defeat, can't seem to find anything, even when searching in Spanish!

I have a couple of suggestions though.......

Here is the link for the Tourist Information at Murcia (in English)

Here is a link for the holiday truths forums. someone there MUST know something!

Sorry I can't help more.

Hope all goes well

Regards

Gary

Gary,

Thought you might be inetersted to know what I have found out ... All i need to find out now is what to say to the taxi driver when I get in at Murcia airport i.e how to ask for the ferry station at Santiago de la Rivera, or wherever the ferry stops.

The ferry leaves from Santiago de la Rivera, the first one leaves at 10 am and then there is one every two hours until 8 pm, and then for the return (Tomas Meastre marina/Santiago ) the first one leave at 09 am and there is one every two hours until 7pm.

If you want to contact them here is their number : 0034 649 20 16 10

Hi Dave

I also just found this (now we know it's proper name, ha ha) http://www.puertomaestre.com/

The boat port at Santiago de La Ribera is close to the airport, really close (map)

You need to ask the taxi driver for ---- La Barca de Santiago de La Ribera por Puerto Maestro - the boat from Santiago to Puerto Maestro

Hope all goes well and I will get this info up on the message board in the next day or so

Cheers

Gary
