Lost Property at Ibiza Airport

On Fri Sep 8 16:36 , PHYLLIS RODGERS sent:

My son flew into Ibiza airport late on Mon 21 August 06. He flew from Glasgow on a Globespan flight. His hand luggage was lost/stolen upon arrival. His passport was in his bag. He had to contact the British consulate in Ibiza town to obtain a temporary passport in order to return back to Glasgow on Fri 25 Aug 06. How can i contact the lost and found department in the airport to see if the passport has been handed in and if it is by phone will they speak English?

MY REPLY

Hi Phyliss

The Spanish Airports don't publish email addresses for the various departments which is a bit of a pain.

The telephone number for the lost and found at Ibiza Airport is 0034 971 809 207 and as about 50% of all passengers travelling through the airport are English I am sure they will have someone there who can speak with you.

I hope that the passport turns up and good luck

Regards
