Getting from Valencia to Gandia

Hi Gary, I am thinking of flying into Valencia and then staying in Gandia. Can I get there by train? If so how much would a taxi cost from the airport to the station, and how often do the trains run?

Hi Nancy

Gandia is about 81kms from Valencia Airport, (map & driving directions), a taxi would be between €80-€100 each way.

You can get there by the train but you need to use the "local" trains, you need to get a taxi into Valencia Del Nord train station (about €17) and then there are trains every 30 minutes or so and will cost no more than €3.65 each way. The journey time is about 56 minutes.
