Dear Gary,
My sons luggage was broken into @ alicante airport on Tuesday 1st August 2006,t have the flight number which is TOM 4654.His girl-friends jewellry + engagement ring where taken,we are not having any luck in the UK,because the incident happened in Spain.
His insurance company are dragging their heels,so you are our last resort, do you have any phone numbers we could ring to see if there is a gang of baggage thieves that might have been caught or a lost/ found office at the airport that we could contact.
I am out in Spain in September.

MY REPLY

Hi Maurice

I am getting a lot of emails about luggage being broken into at the main tourist airports.

The number for the police at the airport in Alicante is 0034 966 919 223, I would call them and see if they can help.

I can't believe that it's too hard to stop this kind of thing but it seems to happen all over the world!

Good luck

Regards

Gary
