Baby Car Seats Hire at Spanish Airports

Can you tell me if there is a possibility of renting a baby seat for a car at Almeria airport from any of the car hire companies without renting the car!! My daughter is arriving on Tuesday 19 September from Dubln into Almeria, I am picking her up, she has a 5 month old baby and the only other option seems to be to buy a new car seat for €80 to use for one week. I would appreciate your help with this.

This is an interesting question because we have had the same dilema!

In the end we purchased a baby seat a couple of years ago and it has had a lot of use. My sister and her baby, friends and friends of friends all use the seat thoughout the year.

This is obviously a constant problem because there is now a company on the Costa Del Sol that hires all baby equipment for holidays, but thats not much use to you! www.traveinlite.com

It sounds like you are living down in the Almeria area so I assume that your daughter (and grand child) will be a frequent visitor and buying a seat may be the wisest option.

To answer your question directly, I dont know. If I were you I would call the companies at Almeria Airport and ask. My initial thoughts are that they wouldn't want to be bothered with just a car seat but you never know!
