Hi Alicia
We are only an "English language" information website and not connected with the airport.
HOWEVER.....
I am sure that the staff at Palma would be OK for her to jump onto the disabled buggy, as a rule their should be one waiting for any elderely or disabled passengers. Common sense says that a woman with 2 kids who can't walk is as good as disabled!
In the case of passnegers who require assistance it is down to the airlines to make sure they get some...so the thumbs down to Thomsonfly!
We have a 2 and a half year old daughter and most of the time with a bit of persaussion we manage to get the buggy back after we get off the plane. My wife normally asks (very nicley) if someone could get our buggy and one the stewards will often go down and fetch it from the hold. It doesnt always work but more often or not it does!
I hope everything will work out OK and I would go back to Thomson and kick up a fuss
I have also put this up on the message board so if you could let us know what happens that would be great. This is the kind of information that "normal" travellers need and ask for at each and every airport in Spain.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I will try Thomsonfly again but to date they have been less than helpfull. We have a holiday home in Costa de La Calma and will be meeting them at the airport but cannot be of any assistance to her until she is past the carousel. I will pass on your suggestion re asking a member of staff to retreive thebuggy from the hold. will keep you posted . Kind regards Alicia
