Parking at Reus Airport

Is it still the case that there's no charge for parking at Reus?!! We live 1/2 hr's drive away. We fly out on Aug 17 and return 27. Will we have any probs leaving the car there that long, or do we need to prebook/inform?

Any info would be greatly appreciated, as noone seems to answer the phone at airport enquiries (¡que tipico!)

Hi Antony

I was at Reus a few months ago and it was free, I don't think it will stay that way much longer, Girona and Murcia have just changed over from free to paid parking!

To be safe I called The Spanish Airport Authority Helpline (AENA) and they told me it was still free but if you want to leave your car for more than five days you need to inform the information desk when you get there. They will ask you to fill out a form but it is still FREE!

I suppose the form gives them some control over how long cars should be in the car park, I have seen obviously abandoned cars left at Malaga Airport for more than 1 year.
