Getting from Fez to Malaga Airport

I stumbled across your website, and I have a bit of a concern, which I hope you can help me out with.

My cousin and I are staying in Fes (Morocco) and are leaving there on 28 September. We hope to get a really early train up to Tangiers (leaving at 7am and arriving about 12.30pm) and then take a ferry on Balearia at 2.30pm to Algericas (arriving at 5pm) and get the bus at say 5.45 up to Malaga, stay the night there, and then fly out in the morning.

It seems from my online research that this is possible (even if it makes for a very long day!). I would appreciate any comments you have about whether I have overlooked anything and whether what I planned is feasible.

Long day but what a great day (if all goes to plan), don't know much about travelling around Morrocco but my brother in law does it often and never has too many problems.

You seem to have done your research pretty well, even if your ferry is late there are plenty of buses from Algerciars to Malaga and if you're really really late you could always stay in Algerciras and get up to Malaga in the morning.

The main places too stay in Malaga are in the City center. Getting from Malaga City to the airport is also very easy and the train is probably the easiest and most regular.
