Staying Overnight at Girona Airport

our flight is early in the morning from girona airport. however, we dont want to use any of hotels or so. we'll have our sleeping bags. do you think it is legal to sleep there? on the ground or somehow? does the airport work in the night?

I am sure that the airport is open 24 hours. Not sure about sleeping there, I can't imagine it would be too much of a problem but to be sure you should check with the airport: (0034) 972 186 600.
It also depends on what time of year you are there but at the moment it is nice and warm outside!
If you get really fed up there is a Novotel Hotel just outside the airport!

If you have the misfortune to get delayed at this airport beware of thieves and lack of food.had 2 horrible nights and day stranded there,resulting in my bag being stolen.
