Reus to Barcelona by Bus

Me and a friend are flying into Reus airport on Sunday 16th July from London Stansted on the Ryanair flight that gets there at 21.50. We have accomodation booked in Barcelona that night. So we need to get a transfer to Barcelona but it seems from online timetables the last bus is at 21.30, but I have also read that the buses are timed to coincide with flights, so I was hoping/ wondering that maybe the online timetable needs updating and that there was actually a bus at that time convenient for the ryanair flight, probably about 10.30 by the time we`ve been through customs and baggage etc. Being student backpacker types we cant really afford to arrange a private transfer ourselves so this bus would be much better!

If you could give us any infomation we would be very grateful

Hmmm....I checked with the bus companies that I know about and they all seem to stop running at around 9pm (from Tarragona to Barcelona). You can check here in English: http://www2.alsa.es/portal/index.asp?lang=en

I reckon a better bet is to get a taxi into Tarragona Train Station (€15) and get a train upto Barcelona. There are trains that leave Tarragona on that Sunday at 2210, 2225 and 2305. Depending on which train you get (fast or slow) depends on the prices but they are showing at between €4.75 and €17.20. All information in English here: http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/ingles.html#

I will put this up on the message board so if anyone knows of a bus at that time of night I am sure they will add a comment.
