Mobile Phones On Majorca Holidays

I will be arriving from the UK - are there any shops at the airport very local to the airport where I can by a Spanish mobile phone as the cost of using a UK mobile phone in Majorca is too expensive.

I dont know Majorca well enough to give info about phone shops but......

I am sure there will be a shop in the nearest town to where you are staying, Mobile Phone shops are on every street corner here, just like the UK.

If your phone is "open" you could simply buy a sim card on a pay as you go basis, I havent brought one for a while but they were €60 to buy with €48 worth of calls included.

Buying an actual phone without a contract would be expensive and would think it would be cheaper to use the UK mobile.

Then simply leave a message on your UK mobile giving your new Spanish mobile number.

Not all phones are open!
