Left Luggage at Madrid Airport

Hi Gary,

Am travelling to Spain in September and want to know if the Madrid International Airport has a left luggage facility.

My family & I are walking the Pilgrim’s Path and will have excess baggage that we do not wish to take.

Can you advise me as to where I could leave a medium sized suitcase (either Barajas Airport or the Railway Station).

Thanks you so much,

Regards,

Penny Drane

Hi Penny

There are Left Luggage offices in Terminals 1 , 2 and the new terminal 4. The cost for leaving bags is about €3 per day.

They should be easy to find!

Have a great trip

Regards

Gary

Hi Gary,
My daughter will be traveling with a friend throughout Spain and would like to store luggage that they both will have from their four month study abroad program in Europe (probably two large suitcases). They are hoping to just travel with a backpack once in Spain.
How big are the storage lockers in the Madrid Airport? How long can you store something there. They will be in Spain for about a month.
If the airport storage is not possible, do you have any other ideas as to what to do with the excess baggage?
Thanks so much,
Sandy McKown

Hi Sandy

The storage lockers should be big enough, the best thing to do is to call the Spanish Airport Authority helpline to check, they have an English speaking department, just listen to the initial message and wait for the one in English...

Hope they have a great time
