Getting from Madrid to Alicante

and being picked up by a friend and driven to Alicante,firstly how long
would this journey take and what would be the best route,also what is the
temperature likely to be in Alicante in March,might go there for my birthday

I would say the journey will take about 4 hours and 30 mins.

Weather in March can be a bit hit and miss, it is when it starts to get warmer (20c) but March can also be a wet month.

If the sun is out it will be warm enough to sit outside and sunbathe, sea and unheated pools might be a bit cold.

Whichever way you look at it though it will be better than the UK!!!!
