Hi Mike

It obviously depends on what days and times you want to fly but...

Spanair, Air Europa and Iberia all offer direct flights between Malaga and Tenerife. They all have those annoying websites though where you can't see the timetables, you have to search your dates and see what flights they have.

They all offer flights to Tenerife via Madrid all through the day but I am sure if you can be a bit flexible you will get a direct flight.

All the sites have ENGLISH versions (change the language options) if your Spanish is not up to much
