Hi gary,
I was just emailing to enquire about airport parking at Valencia airport as it has no information on this on the website.
Some friends and myself will be travelling spain by camper through summer and want to fly to Ibiza for the weekend but will need to park the camper somewhere and i was thinking flying would be best for the reason of being able to park at the airport however am not sure if this facility is offered there and for what costs. Any information you could forward me would be much appreciated.
Regards Ben

Hi Ben
There is parking at Valencia but for some resaon (an oversight!) I hadn't put it on my site.
There are works going on with regards to Valencia Airport Parking and I have posted a report and map from the Spanish Airport Authority below, the same thing is happening at Malaga Airport at the moment and although it's a pain there is always somehwere to park.
Good luck, have a great time driving around Spain in your camper van.
Regards
Gary
Aena-Valencia Airport informs all users that from 1 December, the P1 car park, located in front of the passenger terminal, is closed to the public due to construction work on a three-storey car park building.
Until the expansion works are completed, the airport's public car park will be P4, located between the current cargo terminal and the new air freight facility. The P4 car park can be reached from the passenger terminal, but recommended access is from the CV-370 motorway (VP-6116) between Manises and Ribarroja, at the air freight facility entrance roundabout.
The way out is by the same motorway, which links directly with the A-3, the A-7 and the N-220. To facilitate transport from the P4 car park to the terminal, the airport will provide users with a free bus service dedicated exclusively to linking both points.
Aena suggests using public transport to reach the airport for the duration of the expansion works. There are two bus routes between the airport and the city of Valencia: the 150 line and the direct bus from the city centre.

Hi Garry,
Can you help?I wish to park my car at Valencia Airport for 10 days, are there any long term car parks,if not do you know what the cost would be any help you can would be appreciated.
Many Thanks
Bryan
Hi Bryan
No "off airport" long term car parks that i know of I'm afraid.
These are the tariffs for the normal car parks at the airport...
First half hour or less, €0.50; second half hour or less, €0.70; all or part of each additional hour, €1.20; daily maximum up to 4 days, €12.00; daily maximum from the fifth day, €9.60. Lost ticket: €60.
Things at the airport havent really chnaged much since I posted this in the summer...
If you get there and my information is wildly out or better still you find "an off airport" long term car park please do let me know as I am not going to be able to go to Valencia and give an update for another two months.
Regards
Gary

Hi there
Long term parking has now increased to € 90.15 as a maximum.... the ost of a monthly season ticket.
So.. if you are planning to go up again to the UK during the next month, buy one .. not sure if it is transferable, but would guess not.
Hi Garry,
For your future information.
Valencia Car Parking.
Car Park 1 is closed for works. Car Park 4 is in use and is very large.
As you drive into the terminal keep to the right Park 4 is well posted, hard to miss.
When parking take a ticket and on return pay at the pay booth in the car parking area itself.
There is a free bus service to and from departures and arrivals, but it is a short distance.
For three day's parking it cost me 28 Euros, but part of it may have been a 'part day' if you know what I mean.
Either way it is a good service for short stay customers.
Thanks for your help, I hope the info helps someone else.
Regards,
Geoff
wow, thanks Geoff that great information for other users!
Regards
Gary
