Getting from Girona to Alicante

Hi kelly,

You will have to get to Barcelona and fly with Iberia or Spanair, there are not any direct flights!

You could go to Madrid from girona with Iberia and then go to Alicante but that seems like a waste of time.

Thanks very much for your advise regarding flights to Alicante from Girona.
I have had a look at the airlines that you suggested, the flights are very
cheap but once they have added the taxes and what not they become quite
expensive.

I will keep looking.

P.S. Do you know of any trains leaving Girona going to Alicante or Benidorm
or even any where in driving distance from Benidorm; my parents live in
Benidorm so they can pick me up from some where quite near.
