Jerez Airport Update

The following was printed in the Sur (Local paper on the Costa del Sol) this Friday.

La Parra Airport in Jerez now has direct links with 21 European cities, including London, Manchester, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and Berlin.

The airport has gone from strength to strength since the airline Aviaco warily launched a first scheduled flight between Jerez and Madrid in the mid 1970d.

Now the airport is used by 3,500 passengers every day and the number of foreign users has double since 2000, more than half of them travelling with the low cost cost airline Germanwings.
