Buses From Spanish Airports

Sometimes I cant believe how much time and effort people put into passing on information about their travels so that other people can have a better holiday!

One of our regular visitors, Dave Bubier is a man who knows a lot about travelling through the various Spanish airports and has just sent me the following updates for bus routes at five of the airports.

I am now adding this information to the relevent pages within the main website.

A big thank you to Dave for all his work and if anyone else knows information that is not listed in my site please, please let me know.

Murcia Airport does have a regular bus connection to the centre, operated by Latbus (the local urban concessionaire) as their line 73. Fare is 7 Euro. Not sure of duration.

Valencia Airport - From 3rd Nov last a new direct line from Manises to the city centre is reported. It is worked by Transvia-Fernanbus and, so far as I can deduce, is additional to the loop services you already cite.

Malaga Airport - It appears that CTSA (Portillo) has an articulated bus running an internal free service (24/7) since March linking the terminals and parking areas amidst all the chaos of the current redevelopment. The vehicle is liveried for the airport authorities (Aena) and is under contract.

Madrid Airport - The new terminal 4 and its satellites are now linked by a 2.7km `People Mover` driverless train.

Coruna Airport - Although it does not add materially to the information you already have, it would appear that from this month an additional service from the airport to the city centre has been introduced. I would surmise that these are direct, non-stop, journeys as distinct from the existing, which are an extension of the urban net.

Worth monitoring the ALSA website in a few weeks, apparently new (or revised) services to ASTURIAS airport are in the offing for June, the Oviedo/Gijon/Aviles links are to be reinforced with four additional vehicles.
