Gibraltar Airport

We have just had a request from one of our visitors to add a section about Gibraltar Airport and and I with him we should add some information about it.

At the moment there are some high level talks going on between the Spanish and UK Governments about Gibraltar and shared access to the airport is one of the key points of the discussion.

At the moment you can fly to Gibraltar from the UK with Monarch and BA but if a shared deal goes ahead then it could open up a whole raft of routes.

For those of you not sure where Gibraltar is, it is at the far western end of the Costa del Sol and for anyone visiting the area west of Marbella, say Nueva Andalucia down, Gibraltar Airport is as close as Malaga Airport.

Gibraltar is also perfectly placed for the Costa De La Luz and the Kite Surfing town of Tarifa!
