Spanish Airport Upgrades

An artcile in Rueters states that the Spanish Government is to invest up to
2.90 billion euros ($3.50 billion)on upgrading the airports in the Canary Islands.

The eight airports that serve the Islands include Lanzarote Airport, Tenerife North Airport, Tenerife South Airport, Gran Canaria Airport, La Palma Airport and Fuerteventura Airport.

The plan includes terminal extensions, new runways and extra parking space, the Development Ministry said in a statement.

Hello do you know whether there will be cheap flights to lanzarote in the future? I heard that there might be from someone who lives there.
