Holiday Car Hire Prices On The Web

I just read an interesting article in The Telegraph where the journalist, Sophie Butler, explains that she found a huge difference in the price of car hire through the same company.

The problem that Sophie encountered is a familiar one. She saw an advert for car hire through Hertz on the Bmibaby website. She followed the link, got a quote and then went directly to the Hertz website and run a quote for the same car and destination. The result was 40gbp price difference!

When she questioned Hertz about this, they replied that they run different offers through different websites and that they tried to keep the best offers for direct enquiries to their site.

I'm glad about this article, because this is the fundamental point behind this website. Yes we have advertising, but in essence, we provide direct links to all the relevent websites for you to source your own prices. If the advertisers are able to offer better deals and you´re happy with that, you will use them rather than the direct websites.

An example of this can be found on our car hire pages, on pages such as Avis car hire in Barcelona we provide you with a direct link to Avis's website and their address and telephone number. We believe that Holiday Autos are able to offer better prices for the car hire at Barcelona Airport but at least you have a choice!
